A few things I saw during my morning walk to the coffee shop-
Family gathered in communal bemusement mid-sidewalk, dad staring intently at the screen of his phone while everyone else shifted about uncomfortably.
"Dad, just ASK somebody!" says his exasperated son.
A bit further along, an older fellow on a bench was 'sketching' a building using an elaborate setup involving some sort of tablet propped against a backpack, umbilically connected to a large graphic tablet which he scratched away at with an elaborate stylus. A separate keyboard rested nearby.
The juncture were technology pivots from aid to impediment inhabits a profound cultural blind spot.
