Prince is such a musical polymath it's easy to forget how hard he can rock the guitar when the mood strikes.
I've seen it before, and might even have posted it here, but I've been reading a book that made me think about it differently, Reach of a Chef by Michael Ruhelman.
It's a follow up to the highly engaging The Soul of a Chef, which put him on the literary map. Reach finds him following up on many of his subjects from Soul. While describing one of the chefs incredible work ethic and skill at working all the various stations in the kitchen a workmate says (I'm paraphrasing due to laziness), "if you slip up, he can kick you off the line, take over your station and work it faster and better than you ever could on your best day."
