One of the greats from the pre-injectible era.
When I was younger I played tons of Superstar Baseball with a pal- we kept stats on binder paper, played a (AFAIR) 50 game season with playoffs and, in the days before ESPN & Chris Berman, came up with a multitude of colorful nicknames for the HOFers and projected HOFers populating our rosters.
Harmon in the game was much like the real Harmon- a boom/bust guy who always seemed to either strike out or hit a home run. When he was on a roll we called him Harmon Killeball, when he wasn't he was Harmon Swillmanbrew.
Ah, youth.
