So the recent evolution of the blog has me thinking.
The 'serious' posts don't harmonize with the overall tenor of lighthearted cynicism. It's like finding bits of tinfoil in the cotton candy.
I don't know what I'd do about it, since that's what life's been like the past half year.
But does it bother anyone else, or is it just me?

I dunno. If someone's blog is all about "what's going on in my mind & my life right now" then the blog is going to change moods right along with the person.
Myself, I have a roll-your-own blog for my humorless monomaniacal obsession and a LiveJournal blog for when I just want to gab about this-or that. People can follow one or the other or both, whatever they find interesting.
It's just you.
I find both entertaining.
Whatever... just post less so I can catch up!

I like knowing what's going on in your life no matter what the flavor.
such is life, no?
tinfoil in the candy floss. or candyfloss in a mountain of scrunched up tin foil...
depends on the mood of the universe on any given day.
I said it before and I'll say it again: as long as you write and speak, I will read and listen. Our ability to balance seriousness with levity makes us human, does it not? And really, I think it's more like finding a raisin in the cotton candy. I spit tin foil out, whereas a raisin, incongruous it might be, still has value. I can ingest it and marvel at its contrast.
ok, it's just me.
back to our regularly scheduled programming.
what could be more lightheartedly cynical than tinfoil in cotton candy?
