Punk ass neighbor whines to city, has it shut down.
The sad thing is the news hook is the neighbor, not the fact that a terminally ill woman has to mount a yard sale to pay off some fraction of her medical bills.
And I spotted this in the paper the other morning- Price Gouging Spikes Drug Costs Up to 4500%.
Unscrupulous companies are engaging in price gouging of scarce, life-saving drugs on the so-called "grey market," with markups averaging 650% but as high as 4,500% before they even get to the hospital.
the LAT, where I saw the story, noted that the practice "wasn't illegal".
