true customer tales: another Kindle story

Hippy looking guy in bike helmet with saddle pannier comes in, buys a copy of Tree of Smoke by Denis Johnson.

"You'll like this story," he says. "I'm on a long bike trip, and I had a Kindle...but then it froze up on me." Waving the Johson book at me with a sheepish smile.

"Yeah, books are a lot more durable than electronics."

He was right, I did like the story.

its really still simple economics. Cost of Kindle + 10 books = $240. Ten used books at local book store $60 +/-. A savings of $180. Thanks, I think I'll buy an Eightball. Wait, how much is an eight ball these days? I am so out of it! Let's look it another way. $180 saved, $180 invested in NFLX tomorrow while it's on fucking SALE :( .... Now you're making money you Kindle carryin' SOB! <- RANT!
