When Hexbugs become torpid and lose their buzz, it's time for new batteries.
I was nonplussed to see the retail price of the 'official' packs- $4.99 for two batteries.
I like the bugs and wish the company well, but not two bucks a battery well.
A quick trip to amazon and Voila!
50 batteries for five bucks is more to my taste.
We've been using them for about a month now and they work great.
And a special bonus, they also work in Fuss' color-shifting Christmas snowman family we picked up last year.
