books: this month's worst book description

checking up on the 1957 Fawcett edition of Matheson's seminal I Am Legend I chanced across this delightful listing:

Condition: Used - Acceptable
1st printing, 1954, inscription inside front cover with author's signature, front cover has come completely off, but is still with the book, binding is skewed and binding cover has pulled away so glue is exposed, but still holding pages together.

Let's see....cover torn off, binding shot, glue disintegrating....that's not "acceptable" that's GARBAGE.

The signature is worth something, but just remove it from the garbage book and 'marry' it to a better copy then sell it with a description along the lines of "author inscription and signature laid in".

Geez.
