The way I generally handle tech upgrades, hard or software, is by using whatever I've got until the point where it comes across something I want that it can't handle or run.
Then I look around for an upgrade.
So last night I tried to dl a torrent and my old faithful, Azureus, which I've been using since the dawn of time in Internet terms, choked on the link.
Poked around a bit and settled on its replacement- Tixati.
Does everything I liked about Azureus, does it simpler and cleaner & with a smaller resource footprint.
Great software, highly recommended. I'll be sending them a donation the next time I have a few dollars that aren't already earmarked for diapers, groceries or postal fees.
