Over and Over and Over and Over

So for most of Fuss' three years I've been 'DaDa', both syllables sharply enunciated, except for an unsettling, happily brief vogue for 'Dad' when he was around a year old.

A one year old calling you 'Dad' is just creepy.

But lately he's on this kick where we have conversations like this.

"Dada?"

"Yes?"

"Uh.......Dada?"

"Yes, I hear you."

"Dada?"

"What?"

"Uh..............Dada?"

"Yes, I hear you, what do you want?"

"........Dada?"

etc etc etc.

And the sheer repetition has ground my 'name' down to something that sounds like

DaaAaaaah.


Oh well, could be worse.
Could be 'Dad'.
