Portents and Omens

This morning I passed Very Black Man pontificating and gesturing wildly at a long suffering audience of disgruntled street people lined up on the curb across from the library. Moments after opening Schizophrenic Gal wandered past the door, proclaiming her nonlinear inner dialog to the heavens.

Hey, and she came back and tried to wander in- I was able to rebuff her with a stern shake of my head.

And Twitter informs me that Amy Winehouse has died.
