So Smelly Santa is clogging the doorway releasing his musk through the store while he paws the quarter rack, which is bad enough.

But the fellow who just muscled past him with two plastic garbage sacks full of empty cans takes the cake. After clanking them around the place for a bit he tried to trade me for a copy of Piers Anthony's Roc and a Hard Place.

Which is actually a pretty good deal...but still.

Since empty cans have actual monetary value it's not quite the crazy guy who tried to buy comics from Ryan with a Burger King receipt, but in this age of diminished expectations we take what we can get.
