Sketchy street guy with a partially rolled up sleeping bag under one arm pauses in the doorway, looks around for a while and eventually shambles up to the counter.
"Do you guys sell headsets?"
"Nope- you want the record shop two doors down that way." I gesture.
He turns toward the door, pauses, turns back.
"Do you have any Too $hort CDs?"
"We don't carry music, this is a bookstore. Try the record shop."
"Oh. Okay." Wanders out.
