Hoop Dreams is a top ten all-time documentary and I urge all my readers to check it out. You don't need to like basketball, it's mainly a story about race and class.

Hoop Dreams is such a great movie.
I picked up the criterion dvd not too long ago for $5.
Gates was in the same class as Chris Webber and Juwan Howard. If I remember he was ranked in the top 5 players in the country before he blew out his knee.
