Just sold a book to a gal who was texting with one hand while digging for change with the other. Far from the first time I've seen this.
Yesterday on the drive home I passed a gal steering with one hand while tapping away at her phone with the other, staring at it intently.
This one happened a while back, but it's a thematic fit and I'm too lazy to change the headline: Buying burritos at the Mexican Market with Meek. The guy was busy making an order and shooed his teenaged son out to man the register. He rang the sale, then started texting while waiting for Meek's debit card to run.
Oh, the humanity!
